A clean and professionally written resume and cover letter is not the only ways to make good impression to the companies you would be submitting job applications. You can also include a good and well-written Personal Statements, which is specific to a particular company and it has the goal of establishing a connection between you and the company employee who will read and review your resume.
You should concentrate on the information that makes you distinct or unique from the other applicants. You can first discuss your personal or family background from the time of your childhood until you reached your teenage years. However, do not mention every little details about your personal background. Focus on the things that would be relevant to the development of your character and personality and how those things are relevant to your identity as a professional.
In a list, write down the two to four most important educational achievements you made from your secondary school education until your university education. Make special mention of any academic awards or honours you received and discuss how you were able to attain them. Discuss your involvement in extra-curricular activities that stand out and the social and professional organisations for which you are proud of being a member. If you are currently a member of an organisation that you believe is worth mentioning because it is relevant to your application, you should include in the statement.
The last part of the statement should be a discussion of your goals for the future. You should mention goals that are relevant to the position you are applying for and include discussions on how you would achieve those goals.
